CERTIFICATION
Goods produced entirely in Italy have for several years had certification that establishes 100% Italian production, as well as a guarantee of quality and Italian style.
With the certification, the retailer is certain of the true origin of the Italian product.
The Institute does not guarantee that common Made in Italy labels represent the true Italian product in the absence of the Institute’s distinguishing marks.
DISTINGUISHING MARKS
The distinguishing mark always bears the anti-counterfeiting mark and the sequential number for each product.
The mark represents the registration of the Italian brand in the National Register of Italian Producers, and is placed as a replacement or alongside the ® of registered.
For window signs, price tags and shop stickers, the retailer can request them from their certified producer. No cost will be requested or charged to the retailer.
TRACEABILITY
Every retailer can verify the true origin of the certified Italian product on the website www.madeinitaly.org.
They can check whether the company’s brand is a true Italian brand and for each product can verify the true origin by entering the sequential code.
HANDMADE 100% CERTIFICATE
To enhance Italian productions, the Institute designed a certification system called 100% Original Italian Quality "MADE in ITALY CERTIFICATE", through which producers distinguish their productions from those of doubtful Italian origin, giving consumers certainty about origin and quality.
Today, following explicit requests from certain luxury artisan companies that produce entirely by hand, the Institute enriched the 100% original Italian quality specification, issuing an appendix with a new distinguishing mark called "HANDMADE IN ITALY".
With Handmade Certification, productions that are entirely handmade are enhanced and guaranteed. The Institute exclusively guarantees those products bearing the Handmade in Italy recognition mark.
HYGIENE-SANITARY AND SAFETY CERTIFICATION COMPLIANT WITH REGULATIONS
For many years, scientific and technical information regarding the presence of dangerous chemical substances in consumer products (clothing, footwear, accessories, etc.) has become increasingly important.
This information has progressively reached an alarm level that has prompted media and consumer associations to highlight the problem of the presence of such substances in the products in question.
PROMINDUSTRIA has developed the CS Certification, with which the Producer, through the use of the CS MARK, certifies compliance with hygiene and health regulations and compliance with safety criteria for the production of its products.
